The Weekend

Category : News

Melissa and I got to have a date night Saturday. But I missed the UofM Vs. Ohio State game :-( I was able to see the highlights. It was a great game, Michigan almost pulled it off.
During our date we saw Stranger Than Fiction it was different, worth a rental.
Sunday we took Grace for her 3 month photos, she was very good. We where able to get a few different poses and some family shots.
The Lions lost, no surprise. But can’t believe the the colts lost…..the falcons went down again!!! I hope this stops the talk about how great Vick is….all is he is is OVER RATED!!! He will never be an elite QB.

Lazy Sunday

Category : News

I SO cannot wait until football starts. I mowed on Saturday, I’m sure there is more we could do on Sunday’s, but I like the idea of doing nothing and relaxing.
We started church shopping. So far we’ve visted 3 local churchs. I would say the one we visited today (http://www.gcwo.org)has been the best so far. But there are plenty more churchs to visit. I don’t really know what I’m looking for, but I’m sure I’ll know when I find it.

We went and saw The Fantastic Four today. It was so,so compared to the last few comics movies (spiderman, batman,Xmen) it just didn’t measure up. By the way we saw the new batman last weekend and it was great. Go see it!

Category : Post from around the Net

I’m still looking for more netflix friends. If your interested. Drop me a note here.

Go to Movie Recomendations on Yahoo! Movies, sign in with your free Yahoo ID, answer a few questions about yourself and rate movies you’ve seen, and they will recommend other movies you might like. They do recommendations for new movies in theaters, and movies on DVD/video and TV.

Do you think Yahoo recommendations work better than Netflix?

DVD Ripping and converting software

Category : Post from around the Net

http://www.clonead.co.uk

{For all your DVD ripping and converting needs} DVD recorders are hot as prices are dropping and DVDs can be recorded
over instead of one time and that’s it. I got one for my birthday and it’s awesome! No more messed up captions on VHS tapes
(tracking didn’t do a thing) and plus it creates a table of contents of the programs on the DVD. Learn how to rip DVDs to CDs,
AVIs, and DVDs. DVR is not up yet. The site offers free downloads of converters, codecs, encoders, compressors, and rippers.
Gotta find time to move all the family movies over to DVD.

In addition to the three features the box set will also feature a fourth disc including making-of documentaries and features for the 3 films as well as a 2 hour documentary including never-before-seen footage.
