one thing I didn?t know what that Microsoft was keeping track of the ?rearming? process.? They only give you three (unless you?re aware of it and can disable it early).
I first ran slmgr.vbs /dlv.? Within a few seconds I could clearly see that I had no rearms left.? Then I searched high and low and tried all the responses from Microsoft employees on the various Microsoft boards as well as some others.? No dice.

In order to update certain software on a PVS image (hosting platform tools, pvs target device software, etc) it is required to ?reverse image? your vdisk back to a normal VM, install your update, and image back to vdisk.

I have seen where PVS targets (mainly Desktop OS) will fail to activate via KMS after booting, and/or not get the proper group policy settings. ?I think this is because PVS hasn?t released the network when Windows is trying to activate/update gpo (or something along those lines).
