Send you data center to the clouds
I?m really getting sorta sick of all the cloud talk. Seems like the vendors are pushing this more than the customers asking for it. Its a lot like VDI, it fits in some cases but in others is just another name for an old product (hosted services, managed services) I?m not saying there there isn?t certain cases where these technologies fit. But I don?t think it will be the customer asking for the solution, it will be the vendors forcing it even with consumer products.
Here?s a video from vmware about how to start building your data center in the cloud
