Our Cisco 4006 Switch has been up for 876 Days!!
We where just reviewing our IOS versions and noticed that the switch had been up that long.
It’s nice having multiple power supplies, different UPS’s and a generator to keep your network online.

Isn’t that a long time between updates ???
We only upgrade cisco IOS when we have a problem or need a new feature. That core switch never gave us any problems and was rock solid.
Man that is some serious uptime. I think uptime is a great metric – but at what cost to the planet??
