SharpReader

I’ve started using Sharpreader as my RSS reader. I like really like it. There are a few rough edges still, but I love the BlogthisURL plugin. I’ve used it to create the message below:

I created a sample plugin that will open a URL in an external browser using the information that is passed to the plugin. It comes with a template that posts to Movable Type (based on the MT bookmarklet).

The template-file contains a URL with special tags that will be replaced with the appropriate contents. You will need to edit the template to point to your own weblog URL prior to use. Extract the zip into a plugins sub-directory to have SharpReader discover and use it.

I have included the source-code, in case somebody wants to use it as a sample to create a more powerful plugin.
