Wordpress comment spam help
I imported a postnuke site into another wordpress site and I imported a bunch of comment spam 
Do any of the wordpress anti-spam plug-ins scan old comments to see if they are spam? I’m using the latest Akismet and it doesn’t seem to scan old comments.
If anyone knows of a why to scan old comments please let me know!

Made the move
Even after upgrading to the last MT. I still continued to get comment spam and wanted to make a change. So tonight I moved to WordPress. I’m sure there’s a lot of little things I need to clean up and I’ll work on that thoughout the week. If you find anything that isn’t working. Let me know.

Night of upgrades
We are upgrading the code on our EMC device tonight. Everything was going great until the last reboot. Now the NAS head won’t come up. EMC sends a tech to do all upgrades, so he’s working on it.
Scott and I have to working on other little projects all night. Moving some more servers to our vmware enivorment, removing our exchange 55 server from the exchange org, setting up outgoing email to go though our spam software. Its amazing how much you can get done when you don’t have anyone distracting you.

Although MT’s Spam Lookup plugin junks most of the spam, the flood of trackbacks can put a strain on server resources. To take a look at the amount of trackback spam you may be getting, click on “Trackbacks” from your main blog menu, then select “Junk Trackbacks”.
