Friday morning fun
Its been a week of little issues. I have two guys in China and a new guy started on Tuesday. We’ve had a port on router for a pots line go bad. We had issues with our spam product corrupting attachments. Our citrix servers are running dog slow and we updated Trend’s outbreak prevention which sent out a pop-up to every users that outbreak prevention was enabled.
It’s Friday the 13th!!!! LOL

Back Home
We got back about midnight on Friday. I was so happy to see Grace, but I didn’t wake her up. She’s gotten more hair and is geting so much better at stand on her own is just one weeks time.
EMCWORLD was great, wish I could have met some of the other storage bloggers well I was there, maybe next year at Vegas.
I’ll be getting into navisphere Analyzer on Tuesday to look at some of the reports I learned about. I’ll also be dicussing EmailXtender and Avamar with my local EMC rep.

Better Weekend
Considering how crappy Friday was at work. I’ve had an incredibily relaxing weekend. The weather is awesome, we didn’t do much of anything. We are just waiting for Melissa to go into labor. We did some cleaning around the house and took a nice long walk down by the water.
Here’s to a relaxing weekend, I’m sure its the most silence I’ll hear for quite a while once Grace is here.

What a week.
Wednesday morning 5am, I get a call that nothing it working at work. On my drive in I call our desktop support person to see what he can access….Nothing. The server room is dark. Not good.
We had storms Tuesday night, but we have a huge UPS and a generator…..yah…
I get into work, into the server room…The UPS is off!!! it has power its just off…..Once I turn it on.. all the servers and network equipment power up. I spend the rest of the morning cleaning up errors from the equipment going down hard.
Now I need to findout why the UPS was off. We call the vendor in and all they can do is gather logs and get back to me.

What a weekend
Friday we went and saw the 40 year old virgin. It was a potty movie, but it was damn funny and the story was pretty good.
Saturday was my birthday. We went to GR to shop and dinner. We didn’t buy much, we ate at outback steakhouse.
When we got back home, we setup a table downstairs and started working on the simpson puzzle Melissa got me for my birthday. Yes on a Saturday night we sat home and worked on a puzzle!!
Oh hey by the way Michigan beat Michigan State!!!!!! GO BLUE!!!!!
Sunday we just sat around and watched the lions lose. Next week we get to see them lose live at Ford field.
It was a nice relaxing weekend.
