My little girl turned 1 last week, I can’t belive how fast the time has gone by. It’s amazing how much of a personality she has. She’s mobile and running all though the house. She’s also starting to get picking about what she eats! 
Next weekend we are taking her camping for the first time. It should be interesting…

Today was my first fathers day. It was a great day. Melissa let me sleep in well she took Grace to meijers in the morning. When I got up I got my presents: a gift certificate for a golf center, some simpsons stuff and Wii Play. So now we have two Wii controllers.
Around lunch we headed to muskegon for lunch, we where going to try Rafferty’s Dockside, but they only had a buffet until 2, so then we tried ”The station” but that isn’t open on Sundays. We needed up going to Ruby Tuesdays. The important thing is I was able to spend a nice day with my two lovely ladies 
I got Melissa a popcorn maker for her birthday so we are going to try it tonight and play Wii.

We got back about midnight on Friday. I was so happy to see Grace, but I didn’t wake her up. She’s gotten more hair and is geting so much better at stand on her own is just one weeks time.
EMCWORLD was great, wish I could have met some of the other storage bloggers well I was there, maybe next year at Vegas.
I’ll be getting into navisphere Analyzer on Tuesday to look at some of the reports I learned about. I’ll also be dicussing EmailXtender and Avamar with my local EMC rep.

Today we took Grace to Frederik Meijer Gardens. She played in the sand for the first time and she took to see butterflies. Melissa finally took down the Christmas lights today then we went to get ice cream. Melissa let Grace lick her soft serve ice cream, Grace seemed to like it.
It was a great day with the family and Grace experienced many new things today. Life is good.

My poor little girl got pink eye again. I had to pick her up from daycare.
We still had some eye drops from last time and I’m waiting for the doctor to call me back with a refill.

Yesterday we went to Cold Stone Creamery, I got mint mint chocolate chip.
Grace sat in her car seat watching me eat my ice cream, so I took a very very small amount of just the ice cream and gave it to her. She wasn’t to sure if she liked it or not. But it was so cute watching her. She’s never had anything cold before. We warm up all of she food.
Being a parent is great.

Most of the day today Grace has been experiementing with new sounds she can make. A few minutes ago it sounded like she said da-da. I was very proud, but I know it was just her experimenting with her new sounds.
We’ve also been working with her with baby sign language. I found this site for me to learn more signs. MyBabycanTalk.com
I just wanted to wish everyone a very merry christmas and a great start to a new year.
We are about to leave for our michigan tour of family.
This will be Grace’s first road trip and first time meeting most of the family. Wish us luck.

I’m sitting here watching the Lions and Packers and the mailman pulls into my driveway, but its Sunday. She comes up to the door and drops off a package for Grace. Its a Christmas present from one of Melissa’s aunt and uncle.
I just thought it was very odd to get a package from the USPS on Sunday. They must really be running behind on Christmas packages.
