Lack of rain, pipe problems lead to lakeshore sprinkling restrictions

My grass is turning yellow and I have new grass that I seeded this year that I have to keep moist. Just to add to the fun, I read in the paper this week, we’ve been bumped to level 2 restrictions. Which means we can only sprinkle on even/odd days and only between midnight and noon!!!!! WTF, I should have used a well!

Grand Haven resident Jim Query’s lawn is his pride and joy. But keeping it green these days is a real challenge.
