I hate software that requires local admin privileges
I found this site that list poorly coded applicates that require elevated privileges.

Most of our ‘problem’ software is in our testlab, but that still doesn’t excuse the programers.
But our HR software is also awful. ADP will not support us unless the user is a local admin. Their crappy etime collection software does not run as a service so the user has to leave an application open to collect data from the time clocks!!!
