Renaming US 131?

This is crazy, “some African-American leaders said King’s name on U.S. 131 would help start the healing process.”
What healing process? like renaming a street is going to do a whole hell of a lot, other than spend tax dollars.
The funny thing is in most town, the street named after King, is the most run down, drug filed road in the town….
How about black people stop wasting time trying to get streets renamed and more time reducing the number of teen pregnancies, drug use, or violence in the black community.
