As the list of sites you notify of your updates grows, you can consolidate it somewhat by pinging the Ping-o-Matic metapinging service at http://rpc.pingomatic.com. It will forward your notification to the following blogometric sites:
- blo.gs
- BlogChatter
- BlogRolling
- BlogShares
- BlogStreet
- GeoURL
- My Yahoo
- PubSub
- Root Blog
- RubHub
- Technorati
- Weblogs.com
No doubt the list will continue to grow. What do they get out of it? I have no idea.
